Should You Take Vitamins?

Quite simply, vitamins are organic substances necessary for life and they are essential to the normal functioning of our bodies. Most vitamins cannot be synthesized or manufactured internally, but are ascertained in minute quantities from all natural foods or dietary supplements. It is impossible to sustain life without all the essential vitamins. Vitamins are not pep pills or a substitutes for protein, minerals, fats, carbohydrates or water.  You cannot take vitamins, stop eating, and expect to be healthy. Everyone who has in the past eaten processed sugar, white flour, or canned food, anemic fruits and vegetables has categorically some deficiency disease. It is impossible to obtain all the nutrients needed in our daily food intake today as compared to seventy plus years ago when food was not genetically modified or visiting restaurants was infrequent.
